Group Yoga Classes

All General, Advanced and Seniors yoga and Meditation classes are held at Cherrybrook Community Centre

Community Center

Your very first yoga class is free, just come and try it for yourself!

Soft Yoga: Yoga on a chair.

Gentle Chair Yoga stretches, postures and breathing techniques will improve your quality of life.

Seniors

If you cannot get down on a mat or feel terrible sitting on knees, you may want to try out a class that uses a chair as a prop.

Yoga improves your ability to move around; it allows you to keep up with your daily life, prevents from falls and improves the quality of life.

The chair assists with balance and provides more confidence when attempting the different poses.

Though Yoga positions for Soft Yoga vary a bit, they are just modified versions of traditional (classical) Yoga Asanas.

Light class run every Wednesday at 10:40am.

Meditation

Meditation is an activity that calms the mind and keeps it focused on the present.

Meditation is a part of the Yoga system, and as its part, it helps us to unite our body, mind and spirit into one perfectly balanced human being “unit”.

All the benefits Meditation brings to our body are due to the simple fact that during meditation we awaken parts of the brain that we don’t use in our daily lives and clean the overused parts, switching off enormous number of thoughts running around our brain every single moment.

Many people talk about the mental health benefits of their yoga and meditation practice. This may include reduced symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress as well as noticeable improvements in general well-being.

While group classes appear to be more affordable, structured, and social, the benefits of private yoga lessons can be priceless:

A yoga teacher can correct your posture immediately with explanations;

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is a holistic treatment that addresses the wellness of a person at all levels: physically, psychologically and spiritually.

Yoga therapy can help you to manage such conditions as Asthma, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Cancer, Anxiety, Depression, Back pain, Arthritis, Hypertension, Menstrual disorder and menopause symptomps, Hernia, Varicose veins, Insomnia, Tension Headache, Obesity, etc...
Yoga therapy is not a magical pill; you will need to follow the prescription as to work out on Yoga asanas, allocate time for meditation or pranayamas, and may be even change your life style.

This is difficult. . . And it also requires your time. . . But, this is always your choice: to be on side of your health or on side of your sickness.

Yoga Therapy
On the first consultation, the Yoga therapist will prescribe a suitable to your needs therapeutic program, which can include the therapeutic practice of asanas, pranayanama, meditation, or other specific healing yogic techniques. The follow-up session would work on improvement of the program with necessary adjustments and clarifications. Yoga therapist will check you to ensure that the prescribed therapeutic program is being correctly followed.

Energetic Healing

Sometimes it called Chakra balancing or Chakra cleansing, because the major attention is given to the state of your energy system,Chakras and Aura.

Healing Session

This is a healing procedure where you are lying on a massage table during the session and enjoy laxurious relaxation.

Welcome Pass for new students:
Option 1 - First class attended is free as a trial;
Option 2 - Buy 3 trial classes paying just $20, as our classes
are vary every week, and it is the best to try a few classes
in order to make a decision;
Casual rate for General Yoga- $17 per lesson;
Yogi Card for 5 Yoga classes - $70 (valid 7 weeks)
Yogi Card for 10 Yoga classes - $130 (valid 8 weeks);
VIP 1 - $70 (5 classes with reserved spot. Valid for 5 weeks);
VIP 2 - $135 (10 classes with reserved spot. Valid for 10 weeks);
VIP 3 - $130 (10 classes with reserved spot. Valid for 5 weeks);
Meditation class - Yoga class rates apply.
